Lesa’s tableware series and wall pieces examine the nature of repeat forms that connect and interact.

Using seed pods as a source of inspiration Lesa has explored the relationship between forms nesting together of a contrasting aesthetic, surface texture, weight and monochromatic tones.

The pieces are interchangeable, allowing the viewer to interact with the compositional layout. The rustic aesthetic of stoneware is contrasted with the fragile aesthetic of porcelain.
